ПАТРІОТИЗМ – ЦЕ ФЕНОМЕН ЧИ САМОСВІДОМІСТЬ НАЦІЇ?

Анотація. В статті аналізується формування почуття патріотизму. Патріотизм не є перманентним явищем українського народу, і його «спалахи» можна спостерігати тільки час від часу, коли для нього складається небезпечна чи трагічна ситуація. Патріотизм проявляється на етнічному, територіальному та державницькому рівні. Обґрунтовано, що патріотизм на етнічному та територіальному рівні залежить від сім’ї та школи,а на державницькому, по великому рахунку, від влади, яка формує вектор розвитку своєї держави. Досліджено, що патріотизм є все ж таки самосвідомістю нації, яка здатна мислити, підніматися з колін, захищати свої кордони, готова до самопожертви в ім’я своєї країни.

ПАТРИОТИЗМ – ЭТО ФЕНОМЕН ИЛИ САМОСОЗНАНИЕ НАЦИИ?

Анотация. В статье анализируется формирование чувства патриотизма. Патриотизм не является перманентным явлением украинского народа, и его «вспышки» мы наблюдаем только время от времени, когда для него складывается опасная или трагическая ситуация.  Патриотизм проявляется на этническом, территориальном и государственном уровне.  Обосновано, что патриотизм на этническом и территориальном уровне зависит от семьи и школы, а на государственном, по большому счету, от власти, которая формирует вектор развития своего государства. Исследовано, что патриотизм есть все же самосознанием нации, которая способна мыслить, подниматься с колен, защищать свои границы, готова к самопожертвованию во имя своей страны.

PATRIOTISM IS A PHENOMENON OR SELF-IDENTITY OF A NATION ?

The urgency of this problem is caused by certain transformational processes and events that take place in the society. This is a visa-free regime with the European Union and reforms that the government tries to implement and also the invasion of the integrity of our state, for example we have annexed Crimea and a protracted war in eastern Ukraine.
Target setting. There is a necessity to form methodological approaches of national-patriotic education according to challenges of the present.
Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The child will learn and cherish in his heart such virtues as respect for the elders, sincerity, mercy, love for its kind and its nation in the family. A family carries out important social functions, preparing children for life in a society as a patriot, a lawabiding and community-minded member of society.
Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. It is a necessity to determine factors which have a directly impact on the process of patriotic education in young people under conditions of modern development of society.
The research objective is to formulate outline principles which influence on forming of nationalpatriotic consciousness of young people.
The statement of basic materials. «Patriotism» is a historical phenomenon. The proof of this is the participation of the ancestors of Ukrainian people in the liberation wars and revolutions for their independence. Ukrainians demonstrated it only a few times during their independence. Children must know about their forefathers, know their symbols, tradition, customs. It’s not only to wear embroidery and speak in the national language. A student must receive a decent scholarship, a working man - a decent salary, a pensioner - a decent pension.
Conclusions. Patriotism depends on a family and a school at the ethnic and at the territorial level.  It is substantiated that at the state level it depends on the government that forms the vector of development of its state.
